Terms of purchase
Version 1.15 · Updated 2026-08-20
1. About Magnolia
Magnolia Nossebro AB, company registration number 556997-3117, registered office in Nossebro (Essunga Municipality). Postal address: Malma Bredöl 115, 465 91 Nossebro, Sweden. Website: www.magnolianossebro.se. Contact: [email protected].
2. Formation of the contract
When you complete your order and we send an order confirmation by email, a binding purchase contract is formed. The confirmation includes products, prices, delivery/billing details and related information. Errors in the confirmation must be reported immediately to [email protected].
We reserve the right to correct obvious errors (for example an obviously incorrect price or stock information) before a binding contract is formed. If we discover such an obvious error before confirmation, we will contact you and the order will not proceed on the incorrect terms. If an obvious error is exceptionally discovered after confirmation, we will contact you; if we cannot deliver at the agreed price, you may withdraw from the purchase and receive a refund of amounts paid.
We prefer that you do not cancel orders of living plants and bulbs/tubers. We purchase based on incoming orders, and these goods need to be sold within a limited time because quality deteriorates after a while. If we suspect that the pre-order system is being exploited, we may suspend the account.
3. Prices and fees
Prices are shown in the selected currency (normally SEK) including VAT where indicated. Shipping, discounts, shipping bonuses, volume discounts, gift cards and any fees are shown at checkout and/or on the invoice before/at payment. In the event of a refund or crediting, the refunded amount will be adjusted for any discounts applied at the time of purchase so that you are only credited the amount actually paid (for partial returns, applicable volume or quantity discounts will also be adjusted). The invoice fee is 49 SEK or 4.9 EUR in case payment method has not been chosen in time. Invoice with Klarna do not cost any extra. Store prices may change for future purchases.
4. Payment
Card and other online payments are handled via Nexi Checkout (Nets). Available payment methods are shown at checkout.
Deferred payment: When the ship date is more than 20 days ahead (or when combining into a shipment that already has unpaid lines), you may in applicable cases choose to select a payment method later. You must then choose a payment method for the order on or before the chosen ship date using the payment methods offered for the order.
If you chose to select a payment method later and you choose a payment method on or before the chosen ship date, there is no extra fee. We send email reminders as the date approaches, to reduce the risk of missing it. If you chose deferred payment and have not chosen a payment method in time, we will still ship the order and issue an invoice including an invoice fee. Invoicing is handled via Fortnox. The invoice fee is 49 SEK or 4.9 EUR and applies only in that case. If the order currency is neither SEK nor EUR, the invoice is converted to EUR. This information is also shown at checkout.
Gift cards may be used according to remaining balance. Orders fully covered by gift cards/discounts are completed without a Nexi payment.
When you have chosen to select a payment method later for items, the following applies when you later choose a payment method: discount codes cannot be used. However, discount balance, store credit and gift cards may be used.
5. Delivery
Our shipping partner is PostNord. For deliveries outside PostNord’s own Nordic network, PostNord may use partners (for example DPD); your contractual counterpart for shipping arranged through us is PostNord. Delivery follows the selected method (service point, home delivery, etc.) and the chosen ship date. For living plants, indoor service points only may be offered.
Normal transit time after packing is often about 1–3 days; packing/dispatch may be delayed in peak season and for back orders. We do not ship orders with living plants or bulbs/tubers if we consider it too cold. Living plants in an active growth stage should be collected from the service point within one day.
If an unexpected delay occurs, contact [email protected]. If you do not collect the shipment, reasonable extra costs for shipping round trip may be charged.
Combined shipping: signed-in customers may in applicable cases add items to an existing open shipment according to the terms shown at checkout.
The estimated delivery interval is an estimate. Delivery may take longer in special cases.
6. Right of withdrawal
You have a 14-day right of withdrawal from receipt under the Swedish Distance Contracts Act, subject to statutory exceptions.
6.1: Notify withdrawal to [email protected] (name, address, email, order number, items). Return without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the withdrawal notice. You pay return shipping. Send to Malma Bredöl 113, 465 91 Nossebro, Sweden (not to a service point). A deduction may be made for diminished value beyond what is needed to examine the goods.
6.2 Exceptions (examples): sealed health/hygiene products or sealed audio/video recordings where the seal is broken; custom-made/personalised goods; certain services; goods that deteriorate rapidly or expire quickly — for example tubers and bulbs that require controlled storage, cuttings, and certain fragile potted plants or plants in active growth; single issues of newspapers.
More information and the model withdrawal form: konsumentverket.se.
7. Complaints
Under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act you may complain about defects for up to three (3) years from receipt. Complaints cover original defects – defects present at delivery or meaning the goods were not of agreed or normal quality at that time. Defects caused by care, planting, growing conditions, incorrect storage or other circumstances after delivery are normally not covered.
Complain within a reasonable time after you discovered or ought to have discovered the defect, and without undue delay. Under the Consumer Sales Act, a complaint made within two months of discovering the defect is normally considered to have been made in time. For living plants and fresh plant material we still recommend contacting us as soon as you can so the cause can be assessed more easily.
Seeds, tubers and similar: Biological materials do not always have 100% germination. This is established in the trade. For example, dahlia tubers planted directly in a bed according to our tests have a germination rate of about 97%, and when forced (pre-sprouted) a germination rate of about 95%. An occasional failure to sprout within such expected variation is therefore not automatically a defect giving a right to complain. By contrast, wrong variety, damaged/rotten material on arrival or other original defects may still be complained about.
Send complaints to [email protected] with name, address, email, order number, description and a photo. Contact us before returning goods. For approved complaints we arrange return shipping or cover reasonable return shipping and remedy the defect in accordance with law. We follow ARN practice where applicable (arn.se).
8. Limitation of liability
No liability for indirect losses to the extent permitted by law. Force majeure may relieve liability for delay. Material deviations are handled under consumer law.
9. Product information
Sell-outs and obvious errors in product information may occur (see also section 2). Images may vary slightly in colour.
10. Customer account, waitlist and gift cards
With a customer account you can among other things view orders and use signed-in features. The waitlist lets you queue for out-of-stock products and receive email when you can buy. Gift cards are used as payment according to remaining balance – treat the code as a means of payment.
11. Changes
The current version is published on the website and applies to orders after publication.
12. Disputes and governing law
